Asleep in the garden (Morning)

This painting takes direct inspiration from Dod Procter's 'morning'. I saw this painting displayed in the Tate Modern and was captivated by the smooth paint and her use of light. I decided to use this subject in my own painting, but instead place her into an abstract scene to make it appear as if she is dreaming of a sunny Summer garden.
